Attorney Lane E. Webb obtained a defense verdict on all causes of action in a 10-day homeowner v. HOA/Property Management trial in Orange County, California that spanned over 3 weeks. Homeowner stated that water intrusion from the exterior of the building was cause for mold growth within the condominium. The defense was able to show causation stemmed from the homeowner responsible areas and that the homeowner’s claims for damages were completely unfounded.
The motions in limine in this case displayed Attorney Webb’s understanding of mold exposure work and a strong defense in similar cases. His team was able to exclude a significant portion of evidence that was unfounded by plaintiff. Attorney Webb was able to successfully argue multiple non-suit motions after plaintiff counsel rested, reducing the causes of action and successfully limiting the plaintiff’s case.
