Kyle A. Schiffman
Associate Attorney
Overview
Ms. Kyle Schiffman joined Lynberg & Watkins as an Associate Attorney in 2022. Currently, Ms. Schiffman’s practice encompasses civil defense litigation relating to the defense of California public entities, including police liability, general negligence, premises liability, and personal injury liability. She is experienced in a wide range of civil litigation, including trial and appellate work. Additionally, Ms. Schiffman has experience mediating and negotiating settlements where appropriate.
Ms. Schiffman earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs from the University of Colorado at Boulder. As an undergraduate, she interned at a private mediation group which specialized in handling domestic and civil matters. She then earned her Juris Doctorate at Santa Clara University School of Law in 2020. As a law student, Ms. Schiffman interned at a personal injury law firm where she researched and prepared motions for trial and participated in mediations. She also worked as a certified law student at the Katharine & George Alexander Community Law Center, where she handled consumer rights cases, prepared complaints, and discovery requests, and assisted with settlement negotiations. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Schiffman returned to the Community Law Center as a graduate fellow upon completion of the California Bar Exam.
When not working, Kyle enjoys traveling, hiking, spending time with friends and family, fly-fishing, and cheering on the Steelers and the Avalanche.
