Ian J. Carstens
Associate Attorney
Overview
Prior to joining Lynberg & Watkins, I worked as an associate attorney at a Workers’ Compensation Defense Firm. While working toward my law degree I also served as a student intern tax attorney for the University of San Diego Federal Low Income Tax Clinic.
I received my Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, with dual concentrations in International and Business/Corporate Law. I also spent a year as a Managing Editor of the San Diego International Law Journal, where I was fortunate enough to have a comment published discussing Online Copyright. Additionally, I started an Anime & Manga Law Society at USD as a social student organization, which has provided me the opportunity to make great friends and also volunteer at San Diego Comic-Con.
Outside of work I love to watch anime and horror movies, play board and video games, and ride motorcycles. I also have a cat that I adore (when he isn’t being an absolute jerk) called Tucker.
