Doug has represented every side of an issue. He has represented plaintiffs, and defendants, and worked as a claim examiner for a major insurance company. The result is a well-rounded understanding of the system. The areas of his practice are no less diverse. He has represented contractors and general contractors as well as plaintiff homeowners in complex construction matters. Doug also has experience in medical malpractice and general tort litigation from both the plaintiff’s and defendant’s perspectives. He has argued in front of the California Appellate Court and has a published opinion. Doug has multiple trials to verdict under his belt. He is currently on the San Diego Superior Court’s Mediation panel, which experience has served him and his clients well in negotiations. Doug has also taught classes on Mediation and Negotiation at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
Doug was recently re-elected to the Del Mar Union School District’s Board of Trustees.
