Delaney Kennedy
Associate Attorney
Overview
Ms. Delaney Kennedy joined Lynberg & Watkins as a Summer Associate in 2021. After graduating from Chapman University School of Law in May 2022 with Honors, and passing the July 2022 California State Bar, Ms. Kennedy joined the firm’s Orange County office as an Associate Attorney.
Prior to beginning her career at the firm, Ms. Kennedy worked as a Certified Law Clerk at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office in the Gang and Sexual Assault Units. While obtaining her undergraduate degree from USC, she also interned at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office in the Sex Crimes Division.
Ms. Kennedy assists with all areas of civil litigation relating to the defense of California public entities in state and federal courts. Her practice areas include general torts, civil rights, employment law, and police liability.
Ms. Kennedy is admitted to practice law in the State Courts of California, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
She enjoys trying new restaurants, going to Orange Theory Fitness classes, and visiting family in Nashville, Tennessee.
