Andrew Higgs

Overview

For over 20 years, Andrew Higgs has litigated a wide range of high-exposure civil matters in both state and federal courts.  His practice includes the defense of individuals and corporate entities in catastrophic injury and death cases involving traumatic brain injuries, spine surgeries, severe burns caused by explosions, fires, and electric contact, construction site accidents, and multi-system injuries brought on by occupational exposure to toxins.

He has substantial experience in complex product liability litigation, representing a wide variety of different product manufacturers in cases involving commercial vehicles, heavy machinery, chemicals, and household appliances.  Mr. Higgs also defends landlords and property management companies in relation to premises liability and habitability claims.

Throughout his career, Andrew has worked closely with his clients to develop cost-effective litigation strategies that maximize their chances for success.  He makes his clients’ priorities his own and has a proven track record for securing the very best results for his clients – whether through settlement, arbitration, or trial.

Raised in New Orleans, Drew enjoys Saints football, cooking, theater, spending time with his family, and dad jokes.
