With over 25 years of defense experience, Phil Hayes has a wide range of experience in the areas of products liability, catastrophic personal injury, public entity defense, commercial disputes, civil rights and police liability, toxic and mass tort, construction law (contract disputes, injuries, and defects), products liability, complex business and pharmaceutical litigation, and a diverse variety of other defense-oriented litigation, in both state and federal courts. Mr. Hayes has taken three cases through trial to verdict, resulting in two defense verdicts. He has sat as second chair at trial in several multi-million-dollar lawsuits and has participated in over 25 arbitrations and 100 mediations.
